Life-Pack Technologies, Inc. names new CEO
Willow Grove, PA — WILLOW GROVE, PA - Effective July 1, Life-Pack Technologies has named former Chief Operating Officer, Steven A. Jacobs as their new Chief Executive Officer. Jacobs takes over for founder, Robert Leon, who has been the Company's president and CEO since its inception in 2004. Mr. Leon will remain on as Chairman of the company's board of directors and be the Company's Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Jacobs joined Life-Pack in November, 2007 as COO. Mr. Jacobs' previous position was President and Global Chief Operating Officer for Bilcare, a multinational contract organization that served companies like Novartis, Eisai, Lilly and others in the pharmaceutical and biotech sector. His past experience includes Head of U.S. clinical supply operations for Johnson & Johnson and his military experience includes logistics and aviation officer in the U.S. Army where he rose to the rank of Major and was a maintenance test pilot and pilot for both rotary wing and fixed wing Army aircraft. Mr. Jacobs holds a Bachelor's degree from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and an MBA in Global Management from University of Phoenix.
